Some examples of my writing elsewhere on the Interwebs:
Geek & Sundry. I love writing about board games and I’m fortunate to do so for Geek & Sundry. I enjoyed writing this article about a teacher who uses board games as part of his P.E. classes.
iSlaytheDragon.com. I run The Village Square, where I regularly post news from the Cardboard Community as well as share articles about the board gaming hobby. I also wrote this article about board gaming with your family.
Yelp. I’ve written over 500 reviews at yelp.com, I was featured in their 2014 “Summer Bucket List” blog, and I’m an official Yelp Elite Gold Badge holder.
Goodreads. I reached my Goodreads Reading Goal for 2014: 26 Books Read in 12 Months. I decided to write reviews for every book I read, which turned out to be 48 books, easily surpassing my goal; it was the most I’d read since college. Here’s what I wrote for one of my favorite books of the year … and here’s one that I didn’t like as much. UPDATE: I three-peated by reaching my 2015 and 2016 goals of 26 books read, but failed last year. Time to start another streak.
Values Here. Autobiographical coming-of-age story featured on the music website The Ripple Effect.
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Futbol. Up until a few years ago, I paid no attention to The Beautiful Game. Now I’m a futbol fanatic. This was the first of a three-part series on my appreciation of the world’s most popular sport.
